Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 2026
BreathFlow ("the App") is developed by Heldig Lab ("we", "us", "our"). We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your rights.
1. Data We Collect
None. BreathFlow does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There are no user accounts, no analytics, and no advertising SDKs. All app data (settings, session history) is stored locally on your device and is never sent to any server.
2. TikTok Events SDK (Install Attribution Only)
The App includes the TikTok Events SDK solely for install attribution — to measure whether an ad led to an app install. This SDK may transmit:
- A hashed, non-reversible device identifier
- The fact that the App was installed
- Timestamp of the install event
No in-app behavior, health data, session data, or personal information is shared with TikTok. The SDK only fires a single install event.
On iOS 14.5 and later, this data is only sent if you grant permission via the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. If you decline, no data is transmitted to TikTok.
3. App Tracking Transparency (ATT)
When you first open BreathFlow on iOS 14.5+, you will see Apple's ATT prompt asking whether the App may track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. This prompt exists solely for the TikTok install attribution described above.
- If you allow: A single install event is sent to TikTok for ad measurement.
- If you deny: No data is sent. The App functions identically either way.
4. In-App Purchases
Premium features are unlocked via a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details. Apple's privacy policy governs that transaction.
5. No Accounts or Cloud Storage
BreathFlow does not require or offer user accounts. There is no cloud sync. If you delete the App, all local data is permanently removed.
6. Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13. Since no personal data is collected, the App complies with COPPA and equivalent regulations.
7. Third-Party Services
Other than the TikTok Events SDK (described in Section 2), the App does not integrate any third-party analytics, crash reporting, or advertising services.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
